Vote for Environment Fails in this Riding!!

This is one riding in which strategic voting and this website may end up doing a disservice for this riding. The reason being, that its method of calculating support (which is terribly flawed and has no statistical merit) will give a false impression to people that the Conservatives are far behind in third place. Because the methodology uses data from 2006 and applies the 2008 national polls to them, it does not take into consideration changes in candidates or changes in popular support of parties. The NDP did well and the Conservatives did poorly in 2006 because they had a strong and weak candidate respectively. That's what is making the 2008 graphs on this site what they are, not real support this time around. Now, they both have candidates who are far more popular than the Liberal, Hedy Fry. Lorne Mayencourt of the Conservatives is far, far more popular than the no-name who ran in 2006, and Mr. Byers of the NDP is a national star of that party. I would suggest that based on the local debates and the support of Yaletown and Kits voters, Lorne is probably in the lead. Hedy is probably the one of the worst MPs in parliament, and having her in Opposition won't do anything for the environment particularly while the Liberals go through another leadership campaign. Talk to people! Research! Lorne is in the lead, the Green Party's deputy leader is here (and will take alot of votes, for certain), and the Liberals will have lost alot of their 'red tory' support to the Conservatives. Therefore, the only true choice for blocking a Conservative win is to support Micheal Byers of the NDP. I swear to god I'm not an NDP party member and don't like the idea of voting for them (I'm Green) but I think this riding finally needs strong representation that will act on the priority those in Vancouver place on the Environment. Lorne is a good guy, but wouldn't play a strong role in Harper's caucus. Vote NDP and block the Conservatives!
